About Us Our Achievements
OBE Television was awarded the 2010 Ghana Society, Carnival Group Best TV Award on the 20th of November.
The award, which was the 25th in OBE Television’s history, was presented to OBE TV for its immense contribution to the African Diaspora in respect of the positive impact the channel has made in bringing awareness in the political, economic religious and educational sectors.

The event was organised as part of the Black History Month celebrations in the United Kingdom by the Ghana Society Carnival Group in Luton, England.

The award was received by Mrs. Catherine Ampaw, OBE TV’s Executive Director on behalf of OBE TV’s Chairman, Mr. Bernard Ampaw and the hard working OBE TV staff members who work diligently behind the scenes.

Mrs. Ampaw acknowledged that ‘despite the challenges over the years, we need to remember what God has done for us.’

OBE Television is grateful for this award and wishes to take this opportunity to thank all our viewers and sponsors without whom this recognition would not have been possible.

The Channel will endeavour to improve the quality of programming as we move forward.
